The overall objective of the consulting services within the Project is to oversee and control day-to-day construction or rehabilitation works to be implemented by Municipal Development Fund of Georgia (hereinafter MDF) in Imereti region, aiming to ensure:

High quality of construction in adherence to the valid standards of Georgia and international standards and practices;

• Adherence to the requirements of valid design (draft, detailed) and specifications by implementation of the provisions of the technical specifications and other provisions of the construction contracts;
• Implementation of site-specific Environmental Management Plans (EMPs) and general adherence to the good international standards of environmental performance;
• Completion of works in accordance with the construction schedules of the construction contracts.
• The Resettlement Action Plans (RAPs) are implemented prior to the commencement of civil works.
